Executive Chef

Anonymous Cafe is seeking an experienced Executive Chef with passion for culinary arts. The Executive Chef will monitor all areas of the kitchen and provide culinary expertise, management, training and kitchen organization to assist in managing the kitchen and all its procedures. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create new menu items and follow current menu;
• Produce top quality plates in both presentation and taste;
• Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner and maintain an efficient kitchen.
• Order and maintain supplies for appropriate inventory;
• Comply with sanitation and Food & safety regulations;
• Other duties will be assigned by the management team.
• Hiring and training of new team members.
• Must maintain a professional and positive presence towards staff and customers.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs., stand/walk 8-12 hours.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a BS/BA degree or equivalent in a culinary field of study.
• Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years high volume dining experience
• References required.
