Senior Software Developer (Elixir)

ComResource is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a proven track record in building scalable web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, including working with cloud services and infrastructure as code, and a strong interest in learning new technologies. Experience in healthcare or other high-compliance industries is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web applications from concept to deployment using Elixir (or demonstrate a willingness to learn) and other technologies in our stack.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure and resources on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Develop and integrate APIs for both internal and external use.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement mobile applications using React Native, Swift, and Kotlin.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the architecture and development of new features, taking responsibility from the initial concept through to delivery and post-launch support.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficient with infrastructure as code and familiar with tools like Terraform or similar.
• Strong experience in CI/CD practices and tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Demonstrable experience with mobile app development using React Native, Swift, and Kotlin.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Healthcare industry experience or experience in other high compliance regulated industries is preferred.
