Junior Project Coordinator
Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Project Coordinator to work as part of the Redevelopment team assisting in delivering a variety of infrastructure projects that comprise
the $19.5B JFK Redevelopment Program. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects as a team member in a dynamic active airport environment.
***This is an in-person position at the JFK Redevelopment office at JFK Airport.***
Essential Responsibilities:
• Assists Project Managers in the administration and execution of design and construction
contracts.
• Assists in maintaining record drawings, project files, test results and reports.
• Assists in the logging, tracking, and processing requests for information, submittals,
change orders, and other project deliverables.
• Prepares project progress reports, agendas, and minutes for meetings, conducts preconstruction meetings, and assists in preparing final project close-out documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, and 2 years
relevant experience, or
• In lieu of education, 5 years of relevant experience.
• Construction experience in civil infrastructure projects.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• Aviation experience
• BIM/CAD abilities
• Familiar with program management information systems (e-Builder, etc.)
• Project coordination/communications skills
• Fundamentals of Engineering Certified
