Job Description

Knight Barry Title is seeking a Branch Manager to manage our office in Kenosha, WI! Come join an incredible team of professionals and a top title company with extensive benefits! Under general supervision of senior management, the Branch Manager plans and directs the daily operations of a branch office to achieve profitability and to maximize service and market share.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assigns, supervises, trains and evaluates the work of personnel at the branch location.
Creates and adheres to an annual budget for the branch.
Actively markets to new and existing customers in the marketplace.
Assists in hiring and evaluating branch employees.
Provides customers with escrow and title services. Ensures that work is completed in a timely manner, and closings are scheduled in accordance with the customers’ request.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of the branch.
Oversees office staff to ensure that sales goals are being aggressively pursued.
Immediately communicates to the legal department any error, title claim or potential issue related to a transaction or other situation.
Work with other offices in the immediate and surrounding areas to make sure customers in overlapping areas are provided with the best possible service.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of the principles and purpose of title insurance, of services provided by a title insurance company, of principles of real estate sales and mortgage financing, and of legal terminology related to title insurance.
Demonstrated ability to plan, direct and evaluate the work of others.
Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, in person and by telephone, with all levels of the organization and with external customers.
Ability to positively represent the company.
General knowledge of and ability to use information systems/personal computers.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING

3-5 years of title industry experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-3 years supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to pass the State title licensing exam, or license required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Reliable vehicle for day travel in Wisconsin required. Mileage reimbursement available.
