Lpn at West Michigan Cardiology

Our busy cardiology clinic is looking for a dependable LPN to fill our full time position. This position will be located in our Grand Rapids office location.

Job qualifications:

Education: LPN Degree/Certificate with current Michigan license and BCLS certification

Experience: Previous medical office experience would be preferred, as well as previous Epic system experience.

Job duties include (but not limited to):

-Triage incoming calls from cardiology patients

-Triage incoming calls from other agencies, such as hospitals, offices, insurance companies, pharmacies, etc

-Review and address incoming lab and imaging results

-Call patients with test results and recommendations from our providers

-Place orders in Epic

-FMLA/disability forms

-Medication prior authorizations

-Co-manage our Anticoagulation Clinic

-Nurse visits as needed for patient blood pressure management, medication management and/or test results

**This is a full time desk triage position. Direct patient care is minimal.

Hours: No nights, weekends or holidays.

During training period, five 8 hour days. After 90 day training period, possibility of four 9 hour days.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
