Gillmann Services is looking for projcet managers Roanoke VA area.
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil/industrial projects.
The project manager role will initially be based in Virginia with a combination of on site and remote duties. Some travel will be required as sites are developed across the area. A gas / car per diem will be paid monthly to cover travel expenses.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain a working knowledge of heavy equipment
- Develop and maintain schedules for workers
- Develop and maintain contracts, subcontracts, plans, and specifications
- Estimating costs for current and future projects & procurement of supplies (including cost & invoice approvals)
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a construction project manager
- Problem solving & strong communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in construction management
- DOT project experience
- Prior experience with concrete mixers, pumps, and silos
- Prior experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino (or Grasshopper)
