Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers Compensation Attorney for our client in Greenville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers compensation law, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients and navigate the complexities of workers compensation cases.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage a caseload of workers compensation cases from inception to resolution.
Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess the viability of potential claims.
Provide legal representation for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Advocate for clients' rights and interests throughout the legal process.
Conduct initial client consultations to assess the merits of potential cases.
Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases and provide realistic expectations regarding outcomes.
Stay current on workers compensation laws, regulations, and precedents.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
Prepare and review settlement agreements to ensure clients' best interests are represented.
Prepare cases for trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Coordinate with expert witnesses and gather necessary evidence for courtroom presentations.
Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case developments.
Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing.
Proven track record of successful workers compensation case outcomes.
Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
