Inside/ Outside Sales Associate

Job Description:

Haulmark Services is a family run business with over 25 years of experience providing a variety of trucking, brokerage, and supply chain solutions to a diverse range of industries. We currently transport a wide array of commodities; including refrigerated, temperature protected, manufactured goods, chemicals, specialty, and heavy-haul transport throughout the continental U.S. The ideal candidate loves dogs and has experience prospecting leads within the supply chain and logistics industry.

Full- time: Monday-Friday (7:30-4:30)

Pay: $45,000 -$75,000 base salary plus performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Identify prospects through research, telemarketing, networking, and field sales.
• Determine prospect logistics needs and requirements.
• Qualify prospect to determine fit.
• Strong follow-through on new leads.
• Manage and maintain existing customer partnerships.
• Negotiate contracts, rate structures, lanes, and service options.
• Pricing proposals for both current and prospective customers.
• Monitor shipments from pick-up through delivery.
• Accurately update customer on loads in transit.
• Monitor account performance.
• Submit daily and weekly reports to management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM database for prospects and current customers.
• Develop a business rapport with customers.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Business-to-business sales experience in the transportation/ logistics industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable with speaking on phone.
• Solid time management and multitasking skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software/ Applications.
• Intrinsically motivated and results oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus.
• Some travel is required.
