Infusion Pharmacist

A large managed care organization has a Full-time CONTRACT Position for a skilled and dedicated Infusion Pharmacist. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, Compounding experience is required.

Must have two years of related work experience as a PharmD, including data entry along with excellent communication skills, and professional demeanor. Interact with internal and external customers in a courteous manner in person and via telephone.

• PAY: $70.00 per hour
• CONTRACT: Contract
• HOURS: Monday - Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
• LOCATION: Roseville,MN 55113

Requirements:
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of MN
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Sterile compounding required.

Description:

1. Fulfillment of prescription orders, including IV, unit doses, and specialty pharmaceuticals
2. Monitor and verify prescription orders
3. Process, pack, and ship pharmacy orders
4. Assist PIC to ensure that pharmacy is in compliance with regulations
5. Supervise technicians on site.

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Review medication orders for appropriateness and potential drug interactions
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services
