Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance Salesforce B2B solutions that are scalable and customizable.
- Design and oversee the integration of Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other enterprise solutions including ERP, CRM, and CMS.
- Develop technical frameworks and standards to ensure consistent and quality output across all development activities.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers and junior architects, providing expertise in best practices and advanced technical guidance.
- Conduct system audits and optimizations to ensure efficiency and compliance with the latest Salesforce features and updates.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into functional and efficient technical solutions.
- Deep Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud capabilities, including the ability to architect, design, and implement scalable commerce solutions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital, including customization, script development, and API usage.
- Advanced Salesforce Platform Knowledge:
- Strong foundation in core Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud) and their integration with Commerce Cloud.
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and new Salesforce technologies like Lightning Web Components.
- Integration Proficiency:
- Skilled in integrating Salesforce with various external systems and APIs, with a strong understanding of middleware and integration patterns such as SOAP, REST, oAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Experience with common enterprise integration tools and ETL tools.
- Data Modeling and Management:
- Experience in designing robust data models within Salesforce that ensure data integrity and scalability.
- Ability to manage large data volumes and optimize performance in the Salesforce environment.
- Security Practices:
- Deep understanding of Salesforce’s security features, including sharing rules, security levels, and data visibility configurations to ensure that the commerce environment is secure and compliant.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT and software development, with a minimum of 5 years as a Salesforce Architect, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce platforms, with a strong understanding of the unique demands and capabilities of each.
- Proficient in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Strong experience in integrating Salesforce with various external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent Salesforce architecture certifications.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of managing teams and interfacing with senior stakeholders.
