Copier Technician - Mentorship Program - Burlington, VT

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a full time, zero-experience-needed position apart of the Usherwood Office Technology Mentorship Program. The program is a 12 Week Program that offers the opportunity to establish a career with our organization, without having any prior expertise. A mentee a part of the Usherwood Mentorship Program is responsible for learning the ins and outs of the Field Service Technician position, while also establishing with your mentor, the goals, and objectives you have while being a part of this program. A Field Service Technician provides maintenance for equipment in the field. Their duties include installation, troubleshooting and repairs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A successful Field Service Technician can adapt to a variety of work environments and quickly solve problems. Their main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining equipment, with specific Field Service Technician job duties including:

• Successfully completing tasks & knowledge checks that are assigned weekly.
• Understanding and following the Time & Attendance Policy that has been issued to them.
• Performing routine maintenance on technology equipment
• Communicating with clients to ensure that repairs have been completed
• Testing equipment to troubleshoot the issues
• Communicating with Field Service Manager on a weekly basis for Program Check-ins

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in a similar field and work environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to keep many tasks organized and moving forward at once.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in completion of tasks.
• Proactive attitude, self-starting in finding the highest priority work.
• Demonstrated problem troubleshooting, root cause and resolution skills.
• Aptitude in operating office technology daily.
