Field Service Supervisor

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the work order for the service department. Job duties include coordinating with the service manager on the completion of customer work orders, putting together billing for work completed, and reviewing timecards for service employees. The successful Field Service Supervisor candidate will possess strong organizational skills, have good attention to detail, and 2-5 years’ experience with a Security Integration or Systems Integration business. As customer service is a major component of this position, the Field Service Supervisor must maintain a good attitude, taking ownership of meeting client needs, and using positive communication.

This is a remote position - work from home with some travel to client sites in the DMV.

Field Service Supervisor responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project.
• Provide updates and tracking for all material, equipment, tools, personnel, quality assurance, and safety.
• Coordinate each site builds/decommission, including travel arrangements for crews and expense reports.
• Maintain Project Manager calendars. Input invoices and receipts into Quickbooks.
• Site Coordination includes all access control, assistance with location optimization, route directions.
• Ensure coordination of the interfaces of invoice with closeout package, and Operations
• Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations, and tables.
• Schedule deployment of teams/crews.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, and that job site close out is performed daily.
• File all project documents (hard and soft copies)
• Ensure coordination of the interfaces of all disciplines within the organization.
• The detailed schedule will include all project phases and dependencies including at least preliminary engineering, property review and acquisition, detailed design, material procurement, installation, test and turn-up or decommission, and site and system acceptance by client.
• Responsible to track project changes and produce updated site-based schedule as agreed with client and/or project management.
• Compile summary documents, e.g. Job Cost review for each site.
• Responsible to use input from the field crews and project managers to develop and maintain the detailed schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Detail-oriented, able to operate independently
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
• Must have thorough knowledge/experience of QuickBooks accounting system
• Strong record-keeping and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Service Administration and/or programming experience using Lenel and/or Feenics Security System Platforms
• Experience using service ticketing platforms (Ex. Service Fusion, ConnectWise, etc.)
• Possess a fundamental understanding of security system topology
