Miniapple International is looking for the right person who loves children from infants-preschool and is looking to gain fast pace knowledge and experience working with all these age groups with different assignments and experiences daily! 1. Responsible for assisting the Montessori teacher with planning of daily curriculum activities, art projects, learning environments and special activities (field trips and speakers).
2. Develop a general understanding for the Montessori philosophy.
3. Responsible for assisting in opening or closing of the center and general opening or closing duties.
4. Responsible for maintaining order among the children when the teacher is involved in presentation or not present in classroom.
5. Check to see that supplies are available. Inform supervisor when supplies are needed.
6. Responsible for classroom and center in absence of teacher.

This job operates in a professional environment. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, ,filing cabinets, and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and required standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

This is a full-time position but we can be flexible with hours during shift but do need someone available Monday-Friday
