Key Responsibilities:
Psychiatric Evaluation: Assess patients' mental health through interviews and exams.
Treatment Planning: Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring patient safety.
Therapeutic Interventions: Offer therapy and crisis support as needed.
Collaborative Care: Work with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments and treatment plans.
Continuing Education: Stay updated on psychiatric advancements for quality care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice Psychiatry in the state of Pennsylvania.
- DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
