We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Lonesome Dove. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and leadership skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute menus that meet customer preferences and seasonal availability.
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Experience in menu planning, including knowledge of banquet operations.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and ability to manage food costs effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must obtain a Food Managers Certification.
