Scope: The Project Manager must be dedicated full-time to the site location-Queens, NY.  Due to the complex and/or specialized nature of the work, the Project Manager must have considerable Elevator/Escalator experience that includes managing the work of these types of installations.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of Vertical Transportation (Elevator/Escalator) preferably in an airport setting
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of client management experience
• Knowledge of the principals of cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration
• Ability to accurately interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications to determine cost of such change
• Ability to read and review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication including presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
• Must be able to develop and maintain positive and team-oriented relationships with all team members at all levels
• Full working knowledge of MS Office 365

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for projects within assigned area from pursuit and development to closeout
• Effectively communicate project requirements, and technical aspects to multiple parties including owners, building managers, contractors, architects, engineers, as well as State and Local authorities and regulatory agencies
• Work with inspectors, designers, and specialists to perform the project requirements in an efficient manner
• Review project deliverables including design documents, specifications, assessment, inspection, and audit reports
• Negotiate the scope of work to meet the client's needs and provide high quality service

PAY RATE: $70.00-87.00/Hourly Salary (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education.)
