General Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of MHRS, including the timely submissions of required regulatory reports to DBH on a quarterly basis.
- Review the current business model and develop strategies for the expansion of clinical operations.
- Provide clinical/programming oversight to the following staff: Clinical Managers, Intake Coordinator, Assessors and Therapists.
- Provide insight with regard to hiring decisions for clinical staff as identified by Human Resource Department
- Be a part of personnel actions (i.e. hiring, firing, promotions, disciplinary actions…etc.)
- Monitor productivity of teams
- Work directly with the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Team to implement agreed upon goals and strategies in the areas of quality and performance
- Train, supervise and motivate others to engage in appropriate performance management activities.
- Evaluate staff performance and identify areas of training needed. Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate training.
- Implements processes and procedures for clinical staff
- Perform all other duties, within the general scope of this position, as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
- Continue with redirection of CSW to the appropriate chain of command
Specific Duties:
Daily
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of all clinical operations to ensure smooth progress.
- Coordinate continuity of care through DBH
- Support Clinical Managers by reviewing notes and other items
Weekly
- Management Meeting (Internal)
- Meet once a week with the Program Director and Treatment Team Coordinator to discuss company goals and strategic planning.
- Review hiring gaps and make recommendations to the Executive Leadership team.
Monthly
- Clinical Director’s Meeting (DBH)
- Clinical Consultation Meeting
- Submit a clinical operations report to the CEO
- Identify and develop community relationships or resources that should be cultivated and develop a plan to build a rapport and align with these representatives or entities.
Quarterly
- Provider Meetings
- Review the current business model and develop a minimum of one strategy for the expansion of operations and services.
- Ensure that methods of gathering input from clients, stakeholders and employees are analyzed.
Annually
- Review policies and procedures to ensure that all policies are up to date and meet regulatory, accreditation and agency standards. Obtain signatures from the Executive Leadership once all updated policies and procedures have been agreed upon.
Educational & knowledge requirements
- Fully Licensed Professional in the District of Columbia
- Three to five years of progressively responsible clinical management experience and staff supervision, including expertise transforming clinical staff into a highly functional team.
- Experience identifying and implementing evidenced based practices
- Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality
- Strong conflict management skills
- Microsoft Office
- Be comfortable in uncertain environments
- Ability to command respect
- Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address business challenge
