Job Description

We are in search of an experienced D2D sales representative who is ready to take the next step in their career. As a Sales Manager in the roofing industry, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and motivating a team of sales representatives to achieve revenue targets, drive customer acquisition, and ensure the success of our sales operations. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, recruiting and training new sales reps, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 base salary (based on experience) with a total compensation potential of $150,000 - $250,000+ annually including commissions, bonuses, and profit sharing.

Compensation package:

· 1099 contract

· Uncapped commission

· Monthly bonus –

· Bonus opportunities – $5,000 for every 2 million hit by the sales team

· Commission pay – 4% of total sales on all sales reps hired or trained by you

· $60,000-$80,000 base, with payments twice a month

 

Schedule:

· Day shift

· Monday to Friday

· No nights

· Weekends as needed

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks and expectations:

· Sales Strategy and Development: Collaborate with senior management to craft strategic sales plans and objectives that align with company goals and market trends. Utilize sales data, market insights, and customer feedback to pinpoint growth opportunities, optimize performance, and explore new markets or product lines.

· Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the sales team's performance against established Key Performance Indicators and targets. Implement corrective measures and coaching techniques as necessary to drive enhancements and ensure consistent attainment of sales objectives. Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management review.

· Customer Relationship Management: Foster and nurture strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the roofing industry. Serve as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring alignment on customer needs, project specifications, and service standards.

· Sales Process Enhancement: Assess and refine sales processes, methodologies, and tools to boost efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance overall sales effectiveness. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to maintain quality and consistency in sales operations and customer interactions. Maintain an updated job central app through biweekly meetings with Field Representatives.

· Market Analysis and Competitive Insight: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the roofing industry. Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for differentiation, product innovation, and strategic positioning.

· Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for new Field Sales Representatives. Ensure alignment with company values, culture, and performance expectations. Collaborate with HR and senior management to develop job descriptions, interview protocols, and evaluation criteria. Conduct interviews, assess candidates' qualifications, and make hiring recommendations. Deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to facilitate the successful integration of new hires into the sales team, providing training on products, processes, tools, and sales techniques. Offer ongoing support and mentorship to new hires to accelerate their learning curve and maximize their potential for success. Regularly review and refine onboarding practices to optimize effectiveness and adapt to evolving business needs and market conditions.

 

Requirements:

· Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the roofing industry or related field, is essential. Understanding the sales process, customer acquisition, and negotiation skills are crucial.

· Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

· Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities are necessary to effectively manage and motivate a sales team. This includes the ability to inspire, mentor, and coach team members to achieve their goals.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, clients, insurance providers, and other stakeholders. Clear communication ensures that information is conveyed accurately and effectively.

· Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the roofing industry and insurance claims process is highly beneficial. Knowledge of common roofing materials, repair techniques, and insurance policies can enhance job performance.

· Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, market conditions, and customer needs is essential in the roofing industry. Sales managers should be flexible and resourceful in responding to new challenges and opportunities.

· Ability to climb a ladder and walk on roofs.

· Team Building and Development: The ability to recruit, train, and develop a successful sales team is critical. Sales managers should be skilled in talent acquisition, onboarding, and providing ongoing training and support to help team members succeed.

· Analytical Skills: Sales managers should possess strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. This includes analyzing sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform strategic planning. Also including, but not limited to, construction focused CRM’s and Microsoft Office Products.

· Organizational Skills: Sales managers must be highly organized to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively. This includes managing sales schedules, coordinating team activities, and tracking performance metrics.
