Production Worker/ Break Relief- $18.50- Grand Rapids

Workbox Staffing is hiring Production Workers in Grand Rapids.

Work at a local tortilla chip manufacturer helping in all areas of production and packaging to facilitate efficient flow of the product throughout the facility. This is an opportunity for a permanent position with benefits available at hire.

Qualifications:

Operate machines and adjust as needed
Maintain production for various positions and departments while stationed workers are on their breaks
Perform product quality checks
Package, palletize and wrap product
Adhere to GMP guidelines
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Other duties as assigned

Skills:

Able to learn various machines and positions
Flexible, willing to help where needed
Experience in food manufacturing preferred, 3 years production experience required
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with the team in English
Must have knowledge and experience with a weigh scale
Able to lift up to 50 lbs max (on rare occasion)
Must be able to do basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiply)
Must be able to stand and walk throughout entire shift
Must be able to work with a team
