Tax Senior Accountant

Summary
Switzer, Roy & Jones CPAs, an accounting firm in Dublin, Ohio, has an immediate opening for the position of Senior Tax Accountant. This can be a full- or part-time position with the potential to lead the office in the coming years. Responsibilities include:
• Tax return preparation and review
• Tax planning and projections
• Financial Statement preparation
• Assist in staff development
• Enhance relationships in the community

Job Type: Full-Time (may include some Saturday mornings February-April only; part-time considered

Experience/Certification Required
• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting/tax
• CPA license or EA certification obtained or to be obtained
• 3+ years experience in an accounting position
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year close processes
• Proficient in using various technology – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Thompson Reuters Ultra Tax, Accounting CS, and Practice CS; Quickbooks; Doc-It
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, organized and level-headed
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
• Ability to manage problems as they arise and adapt to changes as required
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Dependable, teachable, personable, and a team player
• Ability to maintain and uphold confidentiality

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
Career Level: Experienced

Salary/Benefits:
