Employee's Rights Attorney Associate Position

Spitz, The Employee's Law Firm is a top employee's rights law firm, with offices located in Ohio, Michigan, and North Carolina with a national practice. Spitz is currently seeking an Attorney to work the litigation process for employment claims in Lexington, Kentucky. This position involves handling the EEOC process, meeting with clients, drafting pleadings, and negotiating cases. The key qualifications for this position will be the ability to engage clients; speak well, demonstrate empathy, and work hard. We will consider all currently licensed attorneys irrespective of GPA or experience. While employment law experience will be seen as a positive, it is not a requirement. This job can be worked from anywhere in Kentucky or Ohio.

Responsibilities
• Represent clients in discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination cases from start to finish
• Conduct initial consultations with clients to gather all necessary information for claims processing
• Coordinate screenings and consultations by communicating daily with staff and managers
• Prepare legal documents such as notice of claims, EEOC charges, state charge forms, and other required paperwork

Qualifications
• To be considered for the position, a Juris Doctorate is required.
• The ideal candidate must be currently licensed in Kentucky or awaiting bar results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must-have for this role.
• Demonstrating empathy towards clients is a key qualification.
• Advanced time management skills to multitask effectively and prioritize work tasks are essential.
