Position Description:

Sprezzatura is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a comprehensive, large-scale program within the Department of Veterans Affairs' Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI). This pivotal role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, each contributing to the strategic objectives of the VA. The Program Manager will ensure that all program activities align with the customer's mission and are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Oversight:
  • Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex, large-scale programs that support the VA's strategic objectives.
  • Manage program lifecycle, ensuring all projects meet their deliverables within the allocated budget and timeframes, and achieve desired impacts.
• Strategic Alignment:
  • Ensure that program goals are clearly defined and aligned with the strategic needs of the VA. Adjust program strategies as necessary in response to changing organizational goals or external factors.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to refine program objectives and tactics, ensuring they support the broader mission of the VA and comply with federal regulations.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering an environment of accountability and high performance. Resolve conflicts and facilitate cooperation among team members and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback and training to maximize productivity and morale.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including VA leadership, project teams, and external partners, to ensure transparency and alignment of program objectives.
  • Present program updates and strategic recommendations to senior VA officials and stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
  • Proactively identify risks and issues that could impact program outcomes, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the quality assurance processes, ensuring that program outputs meet or exceed federal standards and stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, preferably in the government sector, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex programs.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project scopes.

This position is fully remote, allowing the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Please note, due to the requirements of this contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs, candidates must reside in the U.S. and work may not be performed from outside the country.
