Job DescriptionCompany Description
Gillmann Services is now hiring Prevailing Wage Ironworkers in Columbus, OH.
Must have clean background and pass a drug screen.
Full-time work with overtime opportunities.
Hanging Structural Steel and Installing Metal Decking.
Weekly Pay, $40-$55 per hour, base on project site.
Must have 5 years experience, own tools, and reliable transportation.
Opportunity for Per diem!
Responsibilities:
- Rigging of steel with straps, slings, and chokers for placement by crane, lull, or forklift
- Work with drift pins to align the holes for steel connections
- Use plumb bob, levels, and laser equipment to check alignment
- Bolt or weld steel into place
- Cut steel with torches or plasma cutter
- Install stairs, handrails, guardrails, and other miscellaneous metals
