Youth Support Specialist

Salary: $14.90 /hour
Job Description
This position provides mentoring and support to youth, and supports and assists youth in the follow through and success of their individualized goals. Duties include: analyzing youth capabilities, strengths and problems to determine services needed; attending youth and family team meetings; completing documentation per program standards; organizing individual meetings and structured recreational activities; providing crisis intervention, school support and parent contact.
The hours of this position are generally Monday through Friday between 9:30 am and 6:30 pm. However,occasional weekend hours outside of this time frame may be required to meet the needs of the program.

Qualifications & Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or other related field required. Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, possess a valid driver's license and have proof of automobile insurance. Background check and drug test are required before offer of employment.
