Job Description

Seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to assist with creating a backlog and following a more agile approach for an enterprise-level Keylight team who supports/configures Keylight, a SaaS product that requires extensive customization. This individual will act as a liaison between the product owner and the technical team.

This Scrum Master/Project Manager will plan, develop, and execute agile projects to enhance the Keylight application. Responsibilities will include managing and coaching the project scrum team to implement agile project management methodologies involved in delivery of various Keylight enhancements and bug fixes.

Job Duties

Leads and coaches project teams and drives successful delivery of highest value features.
Develops schedule and cost plans that support the business objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and project deliverables.
Leads teams in implementing Scrum in order to maximize velocity. Works with Product Owner to create a product backlog and to ensure highest value features are delivered at agreed time.
Actively participates in assisting the team with resolving issues and escalates as needed. Works with IT Manager to coordinate outside, part-time resources as needed.
Prepares and conducts periodic project status reports to update project governance teams and executive management regularly on progress, risks, and issues.
Prepares and presents monthly project status reports to stakeholders.
Manages project execution to achieve highest value project deliverables within the established schedule and budget.
Tracks progress on a daily basis through burn up, burn down and velocity tracking. Understand and help manage product back log.

Requirements

3-5+ years experience:

IT software Project Management experience
Working with systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
Governance Risk and Compliance framework
Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent problem solving and analytical skills

2+ years Scrum Master experience with certification

Minimum Education

High school diploma

Location

Local candidates preferred (within Michigan). Or, must be willing to re-locate to Michigan at employees expense. This is a requirement provided by the client.
Position is a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week required to be on-site (Monday and Tuesday), with rest of the time remote
Working hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexible scheduling is possible)

Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.

Employment Terms

This is a W2 position
40 hrs per week
HYBRID schedule - you are required to be onsite 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday)
