We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our Hamden, CT office. As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will provide a high level of administrative support to our client service team. Our administrative team works collaboratively with our team members to help support them in ensuring that certain deadlines are met. For the initial months, the role will involve in-office training, followed by a transition to a hybrid position. Hybrid team members alternate their time between working remotely and at the office. We believe this model encourages collaboration and creativity while still providing team members with flexibility.

Meaningful Work

  • Utilizes project tracking software to process financial statements, tax returns, and payroll filings, supporting client service team members and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Prepares monthly invoices, reports, and correspondence with minimal errors to ensure excellent client service.
  • Efficiently completes administrative projects on various topics, gathering, organizing, and processing client financial data.
  • Provides high-level support to clients, assisting with portal access and other issues.
  • Utilizes work-paper management software to support the assurance client service team.
  • Processes proposals to meet firm quality standards and deadlines.
  • Provides training and support to administrative team members.
  • Collaborates to provide overflow and backup support for team members and management.
  • Reviews and saves electronic or paper confirmations into the document management system for audit engagements.
  • Manages office supply inventory.
  • Contributes ideas for process improvement in team meetings.
  • Updates and maintains departmental procedures with coordination from the Administrative Coordinator or Manager of Administration.

What you must have

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an advanced administrative role.
  • Prior experience working in a professional service firm preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and a positive team attitude and enthusiasm required.
  • A valid state driver’s license.
