Job Description

CNC Operator

For over 35 years, our client in Lorain OH has been a leader in alloy manufacturing and distribution of over one hundred different grades of copper alloys in excess of 5000 metric tons.

As a CNC Operator you will operate CNC machines/lathes, set up new jobs, make tool offsets and change tools as needed, inspect products properly & maintain good quality.

What you will do:

Operate CNC machines/lathes
Set up new jobs
Make tool offsets and changes to tooling as needed
Inspect products
Verify settings by measuring positions, first run parts, and sample workpieces

What you need:

High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year CNC lathe experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as manuals & blue prints
Must have experience with traditional inspection gauges
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
