Description:
The Collision Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing repaired vehicles for refinishing. This involves tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming vehicle parts. Collision Paint Preppers work directly with Collision Center Paint Technicians. Report directly to Collision Center Production Manager and Collision Center Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing repaired vehicles for refinishing. This involves tasks such as sanding, masking, and priming vehicle parts
- Work closely with paint technicians, keeping them informed of work progress and ensuring a smooth transition from repair to the final paint job
- Ensure that surfaces are properly prepped for painting is essential for achieving high-quality results
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in sanding, masking, and priming.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with approved spray equipment a plus
