Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with team members and proactive problem-solving will be key aspects of this role.
Job Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and adhere to company protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and food quality standards at all times.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to address any equipment or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with equipment setup, operation, and shutdown procedures as needed.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Solid mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and lean manufacturing principles would be advantageous.
