Bookkeeping Manager

DRDA, PLLC is a diverse and fast-growing CPA and Management Advisory firm based in Houston, Texas, but serving nationally and internationally. DRDA is growing twice the industry average. All of our growth is organic, so we don’t have too many partners holding back the advancement of people in our Firm. We are looking for a Manager for Client Accounting Services to manage DRDAs Accounting Services Department.

Responsibilities:
•    Supervise and oversee bookkeeping staff projects, manage time and project completion within budget 
•    Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure the timely completion of accurate financial records, reports and statements.
•    Review all Bookkeeping projects for preparation accuracy and reasonableness
•    Manage and monitor preparation of payroll tax and other compliance reports as required
•    Identify, develop, and train on technical accounting procedures and processes
•    Oversee and assist clients with set-up of accounting software and systems as needed 

Technical Skills:
•    Sound understanding of accounting concepts and theory (including GAAP)
•    Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll transactions and payroll returns
•    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

Qualifications:
•    Degree in Accounting or Finance 
•    Four to six years related Accounting experience 
•    Four to six years relevant Managerial / Supervisory experience
•    Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe
•    Proficient in QuickBooks software (online and desktop versions)
