HYBRID Corporate Accountant Description

Our client, an innovative company in the manufacturing industry, is looking for an Accountant to add to their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position offers work-from-home flexibility two days per week. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for the monthly input of trial balances into the consolidation system as well as preparing corporate journey entries and account analyses. To be successful in this role, you should exhibit strong accounting and reconciliation skills as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with coworkers. Our client is seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of GAAP principles with the desire to expand their knowledge base into the consolidations and technical accounting space. While intercompany billing and consolidation experience is not a requirement for this role, the desire to grow your accounting resume, skillset, and career is a must. HYBRID Corporate Accountant Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries and financial reports
• Document and consolidate journal entries
• Handle intercompany allocations, invoices, and journal entries
• Record intercompany transactions, including loans and interest
• Reconcile Corporate intercompany accounts
• Generate monthly expense reports for the CFO
• Manage Corporate Accounts Payable and provide assistance
• Provide daily and monthly foreign exchange rates

HYBRID Corporate Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Working knowledge of GAAP principles required
• Intercompany billing/consolidation experience a bonus
