Position summary: Organizes, plans, coordinates, and administrates trade shows and trade show related initiatives in all of Teak Isle business channels. Provides support for Marketing and Sales teams.

Boat Outfitters is a division on Teak Isle specializing direct to consumer custom products and hard to find parts. The entire Teak Isle organization pride itself on delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. As we expand our reach into other industries, we are seeking a skilled Trade Show Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Execute Trade Shows:
  • Work with various company stakeholders to define and maintain a trade event calendar.
  • Research and identify relevant trade shows for the company to participate in.
  • Conducts pre-show meeting to plan the design and content of each exhibit with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Secure suitable spaces for trade shows.
  • Create planograms for booth layout.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies for promoting the company’s products or services at trade shows.
  • Develop and manage the budget for each trade show.
  • Coordinate all aspects of trade shows, including logistics, vendor relations, and booth design.
  • Ensure timely preparation and shipping to the venue of all necessary trade show displays and materials. (accessories, graphics, literature, media kits, merch., props, etc…)
  • Manage inventory of product samples used for display, booth displays, trade show supplies and promotional materials.
  • Management of trade show leads, and ROI data to evaluate individual shows and overall trade show plan.
  • Packs/unpacks trade show shipments, coordinates freight and monitors accurate delivery.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of displays.
  • Assist in staffing the booth, and to observe our presentation, process, customers, and competitors.
  • Analyze the success of each trade show and make recommendations for future events.
  • Maintains all databases, files, and associated documentation related to the trade show program.

 

Marketing support

  • Assist where needed with marketing activities such as Marketing materials creation
  • Advertising and social media content
  • Website content management
  • Customer communications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a trade show coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and project management software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Offers will take into consideration your background and related work experience.
  • This is an on-site position. Normal work hours for this position are 7am - 4pm with occasional overtime required.
