RN School Nurse

Our clients are seeking a School Nurse (RN) to provide service and care for schools in Danbury, CT and surrounding areas. RN School nurse needed for rest of 23/24 school year and for summer school.

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
* Per Diem and summer school on going
* Normal school hours - No weekends, nights or holidays required! Perfect for parents of school-age children!
* Varying lengths of assignments are available, including ongoing and day-long placements and field trips.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Medical: administer medication and take vitals
* Contact parents or guardians if necessary
* May include assisting medically fragile children on bus runs or field trips by monitoring vitals and administering medication.
* Support student success by providing healthcare through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all children within the school setting.
* Address the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and support their achievement in the learning process.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Current RN
* Current in person CPR
* Ability to positively interface with school personnel, parents and children
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal
* Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, Vaccines as requested
