Job Description

Position - Accounts Payable

Location - NYC, NY

Duration - Contract to hire

Rate - $29 - $31.33

Major Responsibilities:

Processing of vendor invoices including accurate GL coding, , downloading/scanning invoices, securing approvals and payment in Ramp taking into account respective payment terms.
Processing of customer refunds and employee payment requests from Payroll
Respond to vendor inquiries and complete account reconciliations as needed.
Assist in month end closing.
Special Projects and other duties as assigned.

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:

2-3 years AP experience
Strong spreadsheet/computer skills (Excel)
Good communication skills
Attention to detail is a must
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
MS Dynamics GP experience preferred.
