Job Summary:
The Document Custodian is responsible reviewing the home loan closing package for original documents that pertain to the ownership of the loan.
Job Duties:
- Verify the home loan closing package for original documents that pertain to the ownership of the loan for quality and accuracy.
- The original documents (wet docs) are then shipped to a company for storage until the loan is payoff or sold.
- Ensuring all home loan closing packages are received and completed timely.
- Notifying supervision of any quality issues.
- Prepping the packages to be shipped.
- Notify supervision or management of any impediments to meeting service commitments.
- Maintain minimum quality standard of 99%.
- Maintain minimum production standards as required by task.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Six months of Mortgage experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing competing demands.
