About the Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for an innovative and enthusiastic team player to play a key role in designing, coding, testing, and supporting software solutions with a focus on Public Cloud technologies. As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make significant contributions to our cloud-based systems and applications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and prototype cloud-deployed services, APIs, and serverless applications using cutting-edge infrastructure as code techniques with Terraform.
• Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules, collaborating closely with our cloud security partners and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the development and deployment of new features and tools, tackling complex challenges with creativity and scalability in mind.
• Participate in agile delivery processes, contributing to story sizing, researching new solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures to support best practices in infrastructure deployment.

Your Skills:

• Preferably hold certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, showcasing your expertise in AWS technologies.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, demonstrating your solid foundation in cloud architecture and related technologies.
• Excel in designing and building reusable Terraform modules, with a strong understanding of DevOps processes using tools like GitLab.
• Have experience in implementing serverless and event-driven solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
• Thrive both as an independent contributor and as a leader, inspiring and guiding your team towards success.
• Demonstrate excellent technical documentation skills, enriching our knowledge base with clear and concise documentation.
• Exhibit strategic thinking abilities and a broad perspective, contributing to our enterprise-wide goals and initiatives.
• Bring expertise in automation and scripting, leveraging tools like Python and Bash to streamline processes.
• Bonus points for familiarity with Linux operating systems administration.
