Job Description
Be a part of the fun and excitement of New Orleans managing the Front of House operations of one of New Orlean's popular restaurants. You will be proud to lead the team serving up a great experience with fresh, scratch food in an inviting ambiance.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a high-quality dining room.
- Oversee the daily operation of FOH staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor quality of food and service.
- Ensure restaurant meets all Health Department requirements.
- Help monitor P&L to maximize profitability.
- Hire, train and develop your team.
- Control FOH operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Collaborate with chefs and other staff to plan menus, considering potential food allergies and seasonal variations.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing the restaurant’s image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- 3 year's Restaurant Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant with a scratch kitchen.
- Knowledge of common food safety practices.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
