Job Description
Salary:

Beyond20 is seeking an experienced Program Director to join our growing Federal practice. This position will report to the VP of Federal but will work with a significant degree of autonomy and will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. 

 

This role will directly manage site leads for existing contracts but will have substantial responsibility for growing our practice through expansion of existing business and identification and full lifecycle development of new opportunities. 

  

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in technology Project Management and will possess strong organizational, problem-solving, people management, and communication skills to drive successful project delivery and growth, while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience working with and implementing ITIL based processes is a plus. PMP®, Scrum, ITIL, and ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable. 

 

This position will work remotely but must be based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and must be able to attend industry events and in-person meetings on a regular basis.  The position will require some travel to customer sites for onsite assessments, customer meetings, and team management.  Travel frequency may vary but is expected to be less than 20%.  

 

This position must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Know and grow your assigned account(s) 
    • Form an aggressive strategy to identify and qualify new business opportunities within all assigned accounts and customers. 
    • Develop detailed and actionable strategies and account plans that achieve significant corporate growth targets. 
    • Maintain and expand productive relationships with Government decision-makers, project and program managers, and contracting officers. 
    • Build the necessary relationships with current and potential government customers to build positive awareness of Beyond20’s capabilities, past performance, and strengths. 
    • Meet your assigned quotas for growth. 
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, keeping records on all major milestones up to date in CRM system 
  • Proposal Support 
    • Participate in planning, pipeline reviews, solution development, pricing, gate reviews, color team reviews, win theme development, as well as providing proposal writing and reviews as required 
    • Participate as a core resource for Sources Sought and RFX responses 
    • Participate in the appropriate role for all Requests for Proposal or Quote responses  
  • Program Oversight  
    • Directly manage site leads and program managers – assisting with interviewing, hiring, performance management, and offboarding as needed 
    • Work with Site Leads and Program staff to ensure all program requirements are met and delivered on time 
    • Ensure program performance is documented and maintained at all times 
    • Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities within existing programs and propose strategies for mitigation or improvement 

  

Qualifications: 

  

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university  
  • Strong people management skills and experience 
  • Proven experience in project or program management  
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting using tools like Excel or Power BI  
  • Excellent analytical thinking, clear communications and problem-solving skills 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effectively presenting complex information to various audiences 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities 
  • Familiarity with program management methodologies and tools 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Knowledge of program evaluation techniques and performance measurement 
  • PMP certification is desirable
