Schell Bray PLLC is looking to hire an experienced administrative assistant for our Chapel Hill office.
Applicant should have a high school diploma or GED certificate with at least 3 years of administrative and reception experience. Applicant should consistently exhibit professional and pleasant demeanor, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform clerical and administrative duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning and faxing as requested
- Assist with attorneys’ timekeeping and billing
- Maintain the equipment (schedule service) as needed
- Exhibit proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook
- Order office supplies and run errands on behalf of the firm as needed
- Politely answer and direct phone calls
- Warmly greet and welcome clients and present a professional appearance
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of reception area, conference rooms, and kitchen/breakroom
- Maintain and update firm calendar and orchestrate reservations of conference rooms
- Schedule catered luncheons for approved firm events
- Sort and distribute incoming mail/packages and send mail/packages out
- Other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned
This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Competitive compensation and benefits package includes two medical plan options, vision, dental, life, long-term care, short-term and long-term disability, 401k and profit sharing, and generous PTO.
