Job Description

LockNet is seeking an Architectural Door & Hardware Solutions (ADHS) Manager to supervise and participate with an ADHS team to ensure that all service customer needs are met. This position is responsible for daily oversight and direction of the teams, ensuring training and performance of team members meets expectations.

Essential Functions of the Job
  • Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the ADHS Department, including administration, estimation, detailing, and project management.
  • Accountable for supporting the team from a management perspective to ensure a consistent customer experience that aligns with quality and cost expectations that align with company goals.
  • Responsible for hiring, successful onboarding, training, ongoing development, and succession planning for all team members
  • Responsible for performance management and ensuring team members hit key metrics
  • Identifying, developing, and presenting new solutions and best practices to Director for review and potential implementation.
  • Review job bids including developing quotes, building plans, approving purchase orders, and ordering parts if necessary.
  • Review addendums from contractors with changes in the building plans if necessary.
  • Collaborate with Director on escalated customer requests, issues, and inquiries.
  • Assist Director with forecasting, ensuring processes are specified and implemented for each individual customer are achieved to meet DIFOT, ensuring consistent and effective customer launches to teams, and ensuring proper resources are allocated and defined to support Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) pipeline
  • Collaborate with purchasing on overall inventory, stock model outlook, and purchasing issues. Identify opportunities for improvement for time and cost savings and ensure solid/positive cross-department morale.
  • Responsible for ensuring team members are hitting all target dates and goals defined.
  • Review budgetary line items for warranty and error write-offs and proper classification.
  • Accountable for supporting and ensuring all budget metrics are met and managed according to company goals.
  • Manage proper daily coverage to support business
  • Overall support with any issues that occur such as inventory concerns, production capacity, customer demands, internal errors, or freight carrier damages.
  • Perform monthly team audits to ensure quality of work.
  • Customer interface as needed.

  • Demonstrate thorough product and LockNet-specific business knowledge to effectively respond to customer and department issues.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, technicians, and customers.
  • Effectively and efficiently use judgment to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the company to clients and employees.
  • Accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Regularly hitting key metrics and keeping reports current
  • Demonstrate discretion and trust with confidential material.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business-related field, 2-3 years of managerial experience
  • Education requirement may be substituted for candidates with 10+ years of managerial experience.
  • Background in construction preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and capabilities.
