Medical Assistant
- $16 to $19 Hourly
- Part-Time
We are seeking another Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
We are an exciting, family oriented regenerative medicine/functional medicine/anti-aging clinic in the South Charlotte area, in need of help to accommodate a rapidly growing practice.
Hourly pay that can increase based on job experience and/or time with the clinic.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is for licensed Medical Assistants (MA-C, MA-R or DMA) only.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Take patient vitals, assist physical with procedures
- Answer phones, call in prescriptions as directed by physician
- Venipuncture skills for blood draws and staring IVs a must.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- HONESTY, CHARACTER, and WORK ETHIC are the most important qualities in a candidate ("you can teach skills; you cannot teach attitude").
