Dental Assistant

We are a private practice in Pembroke Pines, FL seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our awesome team! We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, motivated and enjoys what they do. To be considered for this position you must have your x-ray license. We are an implant dentistry office so being comfortable with surgical procedures is a MUST! There are typically 2 surgery days a week. We would prefer someone with Oral Surgery experience but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule: Full Time

• Office is open Monday - Friday
• Option for Fridays off for right candidate

Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA) Include:

• Welcome patients in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Take digital radiographs
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Assisting the surgeon with all chairside procedures including operatory setup, anesthesia administration, and cleanup.
• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring vital signs during procedures.
