Job Description

Are you a licensed mental health therapist based in Connecticut? Are you passionate about assisting children and adolescents? The Center for NeuroPotential is looking for a proficient Associate Therapist to join our team. We provide accommodating working hours, referral options, and the chance to use evidence-based, neuroscience-backed treatments. We are predominantly in search of a veteran clinician, such as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, ideally bilingual in English and Spanish. We are desirous of somebody with the training, or even the potential to acquire training, in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Ego States Work/IFS, Expressive Arts Therapies, soma-based therapy, and Attachment-focused treatments. Having experience in EMDR is a plus! At The Center for NeuroPotential, we strive to delve deeper than surface-level healing and delve into the basis of trauma in order to provide enduring aid. We provide administrative and billing support to our clinicians, allowing them to focus on providing first-rate care. Compensation:

$35 - $40 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults residing in the Branford area.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality evidence-based treatment
  • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills
  • Assess and monitor the client’s progress throughout neurofeedback sessions
  • Attend and participate in weekly Neurofeedback Clinical Rounds
  • Collaborate with an EMDRIA Certified Consultant for professional consultations
  • Receive EMDR to pursue certification in EMDR to broaden treatment options
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Be attentive and responsive to both patient and team needs
  • Complete assigned tasks and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with licensure requirements, including obtaining CEUs
  • Participate in essential training courses such as HIPAA compliance
  • Conduct psychotherapy sessions for motivated children and adolescents
  • Contribute to providing top-tier mental health care to young clients
  • Display eagerness for professional growth and expanding knowledge
  • Maintain autonomy within the clinical setting with support from the practice
  • Foster open communication and collaboration within the team
  • Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of patients and the team
Qualifications:

  • Expertise in brain-based therapies across the lifespan is desired
  • Willingness to pursue EMDR training is desirable
  • Knowledge of attachment, ego states, and early trauma is preferable
  • Being bilingual is preferred
  • Possessing openness to new techniques is essential
  • Flexibility to respond to changing clinical needs is necessary
  • Possessing a passion and experience in treating trauma
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to enter patient data into an EHR in a timely manner
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm for professional growth
  • Seeking a challenging environment to optimize development
  • Desired qualifications include expertise in brain-based therapies across the lifespan
  • Having the willingness to obtain training in EMDR is an advantage
  • Preference is given to those with knowledge of attachment, ego states, and early trauma
  • Fluency in multiple languages is beneficial
  • Having an open attitude towards new techniques and knowledge is critical
  • Necessary qualifications include the ability to adjust to shifting clinical needs
  • A passion and background in treating trauma is essential
  • Proficiency in providing online therapy is a must
  • Adhering to ethical standards is paramount
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal
