Oncology Infusion Manager

Summary:  Columbus Oncology and Hematology Associates (COHA) is a rapidly growing physician owned practice serving the community in the central Ohio region with locations in Columbus, Westerville, and Dublin. We are looking for a qualified candidate to support the clinical operations at our Columbus location, the Jasonway Cancer Center, our flagship.  The Nurse Manager oversees patient care operations including planning organizing and evaluation the clinic's activities. They develop strategic goals and processes to enhance and improve the practice, while ensuring alignment with the mission vision and values. Additionally, they manage and evaluate the performance of the patient care staff, promote collaboration with in the practice, and take a leadership role in identifying and addressing factors that impact outcomes.

Job Description: 

• Full time Nurse Manager to support clinical operations in an ambulatory setting
• Leadership of clinical and non-clinical staff
• Responsible for ensuring safe, high quality care
• Ensure appropriate staffing including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and ongoing mentorship of newly hired staff.
• Management of equitable workloads, unplanned absences, daily schedules, and paid time off
• Assist with the development of process improvements and policies
• Fiscal management
• Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Qualifications: In order to qualify for this job, the incumbent most possess the following qualifications or be able to secure them within 90 Days.

• Must have BSN
• Five years of healthcare experience
• Two years of Leadership experience (e.g. charge nurse, team lead, etc.)
• Oncology experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently or on a team

Certificates, Licenses, registrations: This job requires the following certification, license, or registration. Desired certificates, licenses, or registrations may also be listed, but are not required.

• Unencumbered Active Ohio Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support Certified Nurse 
• Oncology Certified Nurse (preferred)
• Chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification (exam ready with in 3 months of hire)

• Available when the clinic is open and as needed 
• Develop, mentor and inspire a cross-functional, order supplies, and monitor compliance.
• Adhere to budget, manage vendor relationships, order supplies, monitor compliance 
• Ensure appropriate staffing including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and ongoing mentorship of newly hired staff. In addition, the management of equitable workloads, unplanned absences, daily schedules, and paid time off.
