Mobile Diesel Technician

Pay: $24+/hr (rate varies and depends on experience level & certifications)

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (pay out in first 90 days)

Schedule: 12 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

NFI Division: Fleet Services

Your responsibilities as a Mobile Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.

To become part of the NFI team you:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class A, Class B, and/or Class C license
• Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training

Salary info:

$24 - $24 / hr
