Dynamics 365 Technical Architect (Hybrid or Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Dynamics 365 Technical Architect to join a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of printing solutions. The Dynamics 365 Technical Architect helps shape the technical strategy for the applications within the D365 domain.

Location: Lexington, Kentucky (Hybrid preferred but remote will be considered)

This job expects to pay about $125,000 – 160,000 annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyzes business needs and user requirements to design and implement application solutions using the D365/Xrm platform, Azure components, and other integration-related toolsets (SSIS, WebServices).
  • Develop and maintain design artifacts representing the proposed technical solutions effectively.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest best practices and standards in the D365 and Azure platform.
  • Work closely with delivery teams in an agile development environment, ensuring proper implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Drive testability (including automated testing, unit testing and user acceptance testing) and operational readiness in solution designs.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
  • Create designs that promote methods of configuration for agility and responsiveness.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to maintain development quality.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, licensing, and resource usage requirements.
  • Assist business leaders with change management and user adoption to effectively use tools and systems.
  • Assist in planning for and adopting of Microsoft’s major and minor releases to maximize platform utilization.
  • Summarize and communicate findings at an executive level.

What Gets You The Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Industry Standard Technical Certifications desired.
  • 5-15 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with MS Dynamics 365 or related platforms.
  • Strong ability to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Deep development experience within the D365 technology stack.
  • Experience working with a highly customized application.
  • Experience with Mobile App Development, CRM portals and Data Migration preferred.
  • Experience with Azure components such as Function Apps, Service Bus and Logic Apps preferred.
  • Experience with SQL and Stored Procedures preferred.
