The Medical Institute of Kentucky- is a national online training provider that strengthens the workforce through innovative eLearning solutions. Focused on certifications in high-demand areas of allied healthcare and IT, it serves individuals from all backgrounds, including the military and their families, career changers, and the under and unemployed. The Medical Institute of Kentucky delivers career training through HD-quality video-based instruction, virtual simulations, games and animations, on-the-job training opportunities, and a campus blended delivery (if located near 6 KY campuses). As well as partnering with hundreds of healthcare facilities, the company offers multiple National Certification pathways and has developed over 20 career programs since 2008.

The overall responsibility of an Education Consultant with The Medical Institute of Kentucky is to recruit prospective students to enroll in the right program. Customer service and professionalism throughout the process are a must and will be monitored by leadership.

We are looking for someone who wants to work alongside amazing people while creating experiences that make a difference in the lives of thousands of adult learners each year. Essential Functions:

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment goals.

  • Obtain expert product knowledge in all TMIKY educational courses, programs, and certifications.

  • Responsible for three or more hours of student talk time per day.

  • When three or more hours of student talk time per day is not met, Educational Consultants are responsible for making 70+ outbound daily calls.

  • Ability to be customer-centric by ensuring each prospective student has his/her needs met while developing and building collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to uncover the needs, desires, and strengths of prospective students and help them select a program that best matches those requirements.

  • Manages work time effectively by ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with your current, potential, and alumni students.

General Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Continually prospect new students using a dialing system, text messaging, and email.

  • Follow up with prospective students for training application and approval forms.

  • Develop and maintain referral partnerships with current and former students gaining one enrollment per month from a referral source.

  • Provide prompt follow-up on all incoming leads. Within business hours the expectation is 10 minutes or less.

  • Identify and discuss how students will pay for our program. Examples include MyCAA, ArmyCA, WIOA, and or self-pay.

  • Utilize CRM to manage a successful pipeline of prospective students.

  • Maintain complete CRM records by adding notes for every interaction with our students and properly status students within the sales cycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets).

  • Professional communication skills.

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, admissions, or healthcare recruiting is required.

  • Inside Phone Sales Experience- Minimum 2 years High Volume.

  • Experience with CRM software is required.

  • Experience with Social Media.

Working Environment:

  • This is a flex schedule position with the possibility of 5 days a week.

  • Participating in an Office setting and/or Zoom virtual office environment.

  • Home Office set up, quiet place to work, and ability to hard-wire high-speed internet connection.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires long periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.

  • Requires occasional bending, stooping, and squatting.

  • Requires occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
