Construction Helper

We are seeking are seeking a Construction Helper to join our team!

Work schedule is Monday - Friday, (6:30am - 3:00pm) with OT as needed.

Job Description & Function: The ideal candidate will perform detail-oriented tasks involving physical labor on a commercial construction site. Candidates will ideally posses a commercial construction background. Candidates will be required to operate a wide range of hand and power tools; Hammer drills, grout mixers, small hoists, impact wrenches and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

Duties:
• Receive instructions from site supervisor and execute work accordingly
• Work from blueprints, drawings, diagrams and sketches .
• Understanding of general construction knowledge and terminology
• Determine required working procedure to accomplish rail installation or repair to company standards
• Ability to problem solve and adapt to constantly changing job sites/environments
• Team player willing and able to work side by side with co workers to complete a high quality product on time
• Work on a tasks unsupervised, performed to the expected standard/quality of work

Requirements:
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Previous commercial construction experience
• Reliable transportation
• Lifts heavy objects
• Walks and stand for long periods of time
