ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This list is not all inclusive.

The employee must be able to perform each essential function effectively to be successful in this position:

1.Consistently model and demonstrate excellence in customer service, with a constant focus on person-centered care/services delivery.

2.Provides an accurate and timely master schedule for the nursing department.

3.Receives time clock reports, makes appropriate adjustments for time off, missed days and missed clocking or other approved time adjustments.

4.Tracks PTO benefit to assure that each individual nursing department employees records are current and correct for tracking accruals, etc.

5.Maintains attendance sheet with above days tracked as well as absences, tardies and other related data.

6.Reports out on a payroll-by-payroll basis the attendance data to the DON and Administrator.

7.Maintains daily staffing report at entrance as required by regulation by CMS and state license and regulation agencies.

8.Reports any allegation of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property per facility policy.

9.Follows the policies and procedures of the facility.

10.Assists with the orientation of new employees, if needed due to volume of new hires.

11.Attending staff meetings as directed.

12.Is interactive and knowledgeable with software systems used including but not limited to Proliant, OnShift Schedule, OnShift Time, Engage, etc.

13.Performs other tasks as assigned by the DON or Administrator.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS

Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Demonstrates the ability to utilize appropriate judgement in requesting assistance from other personnel of the facility, in order to perform the tasks of this position.
