Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team. This role will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and management of all aspects related to events, operations, and some portions of property management within our complex. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Management:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive events calendar that caters to diverse audiences and aligns with the complex's brand identity.

- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue setup, vendor management, staffing, and budgeting.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of events, from conception to post-event evaluation.

- Continuously explore new event concepts and attractions to enhance the guest experience and drive attendance.

 

2. Vendor Coordination and Management:

- Identify and curate a roster of high-quality vendors to participate in events, ensuring a diverse and engaging selection for guests.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to complex guidelines and standards.

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, providing support and guidance as needed to ensure successful event participation.

 

3. Property Operations and Maintenance:

- Coordinate with onsite staff and external service providers to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.

 

4. Marketing and Promotions Support:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to drive awareness and attendance for events.

- Assist in creating marketing collateral, including event signage, promotional materials, and digital content for various channels.

- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for future marketing initiatives.

 

5. Growth and Innovation:

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management, operations, and guest experience enhancement.

- Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the complex, suggesting new event concepts, amenities, or partnerships.

- Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute ideas and initiatives aimed at driving growth and enhancing the overall guest experience.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

- 3+ years of experience in event planning, operations management, or related roles within the entertainment, hospitality, or retail industries.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is preferred.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support event operations.
